zack and wolfgang @ wavehouse

It was Zack's 18th birthday last sunday, he wanted to get up and head straight over to the wavehouse in mission beach. He had done it a couple times before and was telling me how sick it was; after a few minutes I was convinced. We arrive and check in and they tell me if you have not ridden it before you have to go over and practice on this little tiny standing wave for one hour to understand how to stand up. After the first time trying to stand up and eating crap I realized its gunna be a long day. I definitely understood that this is not as easy as it looks and I am not going to be able to just jump out there and rip it apart, like I thought. While I was falling all over the place and becoming the laughing joke of the day, here is a little clip I got of zack before the camera died.
